99.9 % of the time its the resistor. You cant miss the power wire. Its big and red I believe.I also think the switch actually controls the ground if my memory is correct.Rocky.

Isn't usually if it is the resistor it will still work on high??
Not always. I've had more than a few with no speeds at all and it was the resistor.
Run a power and ground wire to the motor and see if it works. If it does put a resistor in it . they are cheap and fix 99.9% of them
If you have blower motor wiring meltdown. You need a blower motor AND a resistor/wiring conector

Yes, I think the switch controls the ground also. So the blower motor should be "upstream" or ahead of the resistor. If you run a test jumper ground from the motor ground lead, the motor should run for test purposes (or just bypass the resistor with a jumper, temporarily), would be same as running on high speed.

By the time you go thru all that just get a resistor.Un plug the old one and connect the new one.Blower should work.If not then its probally the motor.Ive only seen 1 bad motor in 10 years. We had parts store next to the shop so it was easier to walk over and get the part.If the plug is melting the motor is probally bad.But like Ive said in over 10 years 1 bad motor.GM had a big problem with the resistors. You dont even need to pull the old one out to test the new one.My buddy that works at dealer does the same thing.Just tries a new resistor.Easy test disconnect plug.Hook light between hot and ground in the plug. The light should light with key on and switch on.Rocky
