Ok i finally saved enough for the EZ EFI. Before I jump in I would like anyones input on what else I need for it i.e. ignition, block off plates etc. Pros? Cons? Will I be able run a turbo or super in the future (doubt I'll ever get that far but it's always a thought). Are any of the other systems, holley, edelbrock, powerjection, accel, etc. just as good or are they all the same just customer service is better with the EZ system (from what I can decipher from this site)
I plan on running it on my 426 hemi. standard orange box mopar igition. MP distributor (recurved). roller cam. around 500 hp and 500 ft lbs

Looks like the EZ EFI system tackles most of the stuff even the wideband O2 sensor and the bung you need to install into the exhaust. Fuel pump, regulator, filters, injectors (sized for you), throttle body, sensors. Really looks complete. Expect just a hand full of whatever you need to finish plumbing and splicing wires.
Make sure your alternator is capable of supply (max 30A total roughly between pumps and electronic controls).
Best of luck. Congrats on taking the plunge!

I went with the EZ last year - stock chrysler ignition system and it runs great - follow the instructions and you will have no problems - i deviated from the system at the fuel pump / tank setup - I got a tank and internal pump from rock valley and it's never disappointed - I've had others with external pumps loose pressure for a sec while in a corner with a low tank and I have never hit any issues at all. Main thing is to install the power leads direct to the battery - as I had the key power off the fuse box and it was too "noisey" for the system to work properly My madien voyage was a 300 mile trip to ocean city Md car show and 300 miles back - got 16 MPG's with the dual quad setup and driving 75 mph - it also starts instantly with no touching the throttle!!! I highly recommend it

* I would not run an orange box. The EZ-EFI needs a clean tach signal. The EZ kit includes a module that you connect to a normal distributor but it doesn't work as well as just buying an MSD 6 AL and using that tach signal.
* Run a typical timing curve as if it were carbureted.
* Sorry, no Turbo with the EZ kit. You're limited to a 1 bar map.
You'll love it.

Rich - you probably have way more experience with this then I ever will but I've ran the module from FAST for a year and pout 4000 miles on the car with no issues. What exactly does not work as well?
I'm glad you're running well. But I have had customers that had "rattey" signals coming from the points (real points, not an orange box, but still not MSD either). The RPM signal to the EZ box was intermittent, yet the module was okay. The EZ system (or any other EFI system for that matter) needs to get a solid signal for the engine's RPM.
I probably am being overly cautious but I figure anybody would be running aftermarket ignition anyway. I mean why not? One less thing to worry about.

I'm a litte worried about getting rid of the good old orange box as my distributor was curved specifically for my engine combo by my machinist. Can I get an MSD box to run with a regular mopar distributor? I just wan to make sure I have all my bases covered before I order next week so i know what other parts I need too
No issue. Your distributor will work with any aftermarket box and the curve will not be affected.

That is a good point. Internal or external the pump needs a constant supply. Most internals pumps have a casing to keep fuel close to you dont' lose pressure. For mine it wasn't a problem until about 1/4 tenk and a long corner. My solution was to sump pump my tank for a number of reasons. No problem now with my external pump.
I had wanted to create a returnless adaptation. Use a local high presure circut with return to a reservoir, and supply the reservoir with some other low pressure like the original fuel pump with a float cut off. They may be systems that do a returnless system by now.

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on the EZ-EFI as well. My only concern right now is how does the EZ-EFI handle a cam with a narrow LSA (108 degrees), long duration, and low (8") engine vacuum?
I have customers running race engines with only 5" of vacuum and they are running fine.
