into this one. ALL OUT RACE.
67 all steel save for the hood which is glass with a 68 SS A body scoop.
gutted interior, lexan save for the rear winow.
Stock chassis, still has stock inner fenders.
ford 9" rear, cal tracks with monoleafs.
CRT transbrake 727 rollerized. tubbed, trunk lid is still and hinged still works.
33" x 10,5" slicks.
disc brakes all around.
FULL CAGE and im also gonna make a funny car cage in it, for safety's sake.
Still I want pump gas because racing gas is a hassle to get down here....aviation gas is all we got and it is a pain to get it.....not worth bothering.

I built two almost identical 511" HEMIs at the same time for two different guys. They both had BOX STOCK Stage V engineering standard port location heads and they were both pump gassers. One was FAST Fuel injected and the other was a two four barrel carb deal. Both used the stage V dual quad manifold as well and they both made basically the same power on the dyno at around 720. They both had very mild camshafts with around 248 @ .050 duration and .650 or so lift.
10.53 @ 125mph. 1.37 60 foot. Caltracs and Monoleafs, AFCO shocks.
Heads by INDIO MOTOR MACHINE; IMM. CP Pistons, PC Carbs.

The Stage V replacement heads when CNC ported by MCH are a little better than my MP heads (also CNC'd by MCH) and I'm making over 800 hp on pump gas. I do have a 4.5" stroke though.

On 91 octane we made over 900 hp and still climbing at only 6500 rpm with street replacement stage v heads by MCH, a used super stock intake, two old 770 holleys, and a street roller cam in a 572.
spill the beans!

How much power would you say could be made with a set of CNC ported HEMI Stage V heads, 4,5 bore block, 4,375" stroke crank?
This would be pump gas and naturally aspirated.
I also have 2,25" headers.
I dont have the heads but was thinking about the replacement stle Stage V HEMI Heads. I know they make some other more serious heads but then you have ti use custom headers and more expensive rockers I think which would go beyond my budget...
With a very mild roller (under 600 lift), 10.5 comp, Stage V intake with two 650 carbs, and CNC ported Stage V heads, I got 658 at 6500rpm. 472CID
