They dont last long. 38-40 passes with a small burnout. After that the 60 foot goes away.

I got more than 40 passes but I can tell how many passes are on my tires based on the 60' times... when they are new I get a 1.20 after 20 passes its 1.21 after 40 its 1.23 on the same track but after that it seems to stay at 1.23 or so

I put on a set of Hoosier 31.5 12.5W (D-05) in an effort to get up on the tire faster. They grab like nobody's business. Going to a 2nd gear only burnout next to keep from trashing the front clutches; It really pulls my little small block down in 3rd unless rpm is way up there. Mr P: They'll never be able to replace you as a Mod. Good job

IMO Hoosiers are a Walmart type slick. Soft compound which works fantastic for about 38-40 passes and then little by little 60 foots go away. I believe the sidewall breaks down 1st and then its shot. Mickey Thompsons and Phoenix seem to last the longest. But what do I know. I only 60 foot 1.21

You know that M/T and Phoenix work better with your particular combo! Each tire is different and each car is different - weight, gearing, torque, suspension, converter, carb set-up, footbrake/trans brake, track prep, etc. People also run different rim widths and different air pressures. Low air pressure or the wrong tire for the application will kill the sidewall. With so many variables, a broad statement about a whole brand of tire doesn't hold water.
I run my 9" Hoosiers until the wear holes are all but gone. I haven't counted, but runs are well over 100. My 60's have been as good as 1.47 - but that's at 3,550 lbs with a very rule restricted 360. Faster, heavy Stockers are well into the 1.30's with 9" Hoosiers. Just providing examples I'm aware of.

My ride is over 3300 lbs. heavy car and I see my 60 foots going away after 38-40 passes with Hoosiersregardless. Same car with M/T I got over 180 passes and they still 60 foot the same.I change mine out every year regardless. 1.47 60 foot is that your best or was it 1.42 and then went to 1.47 as time went on?

1.47 was my best. Usually it's around 1.49 - 1.50 running in "bracket mode". I've seen it vary between tracks. It's also with only SS springs. 11.22 @ 116+ best. Sounds like you may have 1.5-2x the HP, much better suspension as well as wider tires.
