touch your ohmeter leads to the 2 pri terminals (on the low scale) & may get .9 ohms for the primary circuit. Then keep one lead on one of the (either one) pri terminals & touch the other one to the sec tower on X1000 scale for secondary resistance. This'll show that both circuits have or do not have continuity but a coil can (bench) test OK here and act up when hot but if you have a suspect coil this'll get you started
