The cummins is an awesome motor, but it is way too big and heavy for a car. Yes, it's been done but there is no good reason unless it's just for the novelty. A person would be way better off using a PSD or Duramax as they are far more compact and lighter. The front suspension of my 1 ton trucks isn't really up to the weight of a Cummins ISB. Funny, people here often espouse the virtue of a small block over a big block for handling....can you imagine the handling using a motor that is 400 - 500 lbs heavier (and without all the aftermarket aluminum goodies available to make it any lighter)? Shipping weight on a 6BT is 1200 lbs. That's like having two small blocks under the hood. Try this: http://www.4btswaps.com/forum/index.php
