all the books say all 4 spd cars were black carpet regardless of interior color
Can you scan that info and post? I've been trying to figure this out forever. The 'Color and Trim selector' info achived at Hamtramck-Historical.com says nothing about 4-speeds, just that 'carpet, steering column, dash, and headliner are main or second color'.
Most 4-speeds I see are colored carpeting; the main problem area is 1970 burnt orange interiors with 4-speeds seem to be black carpet about half the time (my St. Loius convert is black carpet and 4-speed as well).
Also, I don't see where this ever shows up on a build sheet...if so, what line is it on?

My GTX was built in St. Louis, my car has the white-burnt orange interior. The seats and door panels are white and everything else is burnt orange.
