I have my instrument cluster out cleaning the lenses gauge faces and bulb replacement, and while the cluster is out I am fixing some old hack jobs that were done to the wiring harness. While the cluster is out should I replace the voltage limiter and are there any other things I should do to the cluster while it is out?

Thanks!

If you're not looking to 100 point restoration, then get the decal kit from Performance Car Graphics. Dave makes a very nice and affordable gauge face kit (decals). I have done many Charger clusters and they all look great. Also, check all your gauges for any loose retaining nuts.

You will do better to use a 5ohm resistor to replace the voltige limiter. You can pick one up at radio shack for about a 50 cents and if will be more acturet than the orignal one.
