If you aren't looking for NOS the Carter part#gm4845 looks right. You will need to get the brass fitting for the pump to vapor sep. line.

i bought that exact pump you are showing- M-4845. i also bought that 389.00 six pack kit from hoover with the fuel lines etc, the thread size of the fuel line is to large for the fuel pump though, im guessing the small sort of S shaped fuel line is supose to screw into the pump, leading up to the fuel filter, witch leads up to the fuel line toward the carburator. and the crimp hose clamp end of the fuel pump leads toward the tank line. am i wrong or is there supose to be an addapter or what? if so what dose it look like and where do i get it, thanks carlen

Yes - I mentioned the brass fitting in my above post. I know Y-One sells them - anyone else?

thanks for the info on the fitting, now as far as the crimp hose clamp type fittings, how do you go about clamping them down without buying a specil tool for just a couple of clamps. and thanks for the picture of the fuel pump and fitting. i got started building this engine a couple of years ago and just got it back from the builder, needless to say ive missed placed several parts and my memmory isnt what it used to be. thanks carlen

Have you tried the parts wanted section? There's a lot of vendors who check it out.

What tool specifically?????

Will this work or is there something better to use (effectiveness rather than $)?
