piece of mind if you're running high line pressure. i have billet in mine. the front servo seals better with the improved o ring arrangement also.
for what is the good life if not doing things thoughtfully?

manual vb, i'd do it. it'll just be a matter of time before it cracks the rear servo.

They are worth the expense for more than one reason.
The aftermarket front servos uasually have an o-ring seal in the cover for the band actuation shaft. This helps minimize leaks due to old worn out covers and maintain direct clutch pressure. Obviously the strength is another benifit.

Good thing I decided to do this.I took the pan off today and was poking around and what did I come to find the steel spring holder was bent on the low/rev piston. If I left it I think it would blow out good news is the pan and filter look clean just the normal crud.
If I am not mistaking I think my rear billet servo came with a HD retainer...

Randy's the best. Doesnt surprise me in the least.
Well, art is art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water! And east is east and west is west and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now, uh... Now you tell me what you know.

Got it apart today and the retainer is all bent also the old servo piston has the spring installed and no spacer to make it solid.Befor i had the trans built I did a shift kit and installed the spacer i guess the trans shop changed it. What do you guys think why would you leave it in the stk configuration?

Which spring should I use ? the one on the right is what came out and the left is the new one but it looks canted.
Use the new one , the cant shouldn't be an issue as it is compressed when installed.
