My 1970 Challenger 440 SixPack is unfortunately a careless made clone. As longer as I work on it as more parts I find that are not correct for that car.

Now I'm dealing with the high pressure hose of the power steering. Regarding Year One there were different hoses for small block and big block engines - and my big block had one built in that was intendet for a small block (see pic of mine).

So IF IT WOULD FIT, this would be an occasion to change it against a correct one ( see here it's the same like A-Body) which is about 2" longer and has different metal pipes but the same fittings.

Well, I GUESS it would fit....

Any comments?

A .94 / Saginaw, the one with the oval filler neck.

Original power steering hoses are very easy to find...

There's no need to buy the Year One aftermarket crap.

get me engine and power steering pump information , I'll get you a part number.
Then you might be able to get it locally. Although shopping for old muscle car parts in Europe might be a bit of a challenge, but I can assure you there are multiple sources for hoses besides Yearone

The most popular pressure hose supplier is Omega and there part number is 546 or maybe ome546, Retail on it is right at $38

this crosses to an AC delco # as well just in case
pt # 36-352830

I can get it locally but it needs to be special ordered

"A bit of a challenge" - to get parts for a Challenger???

Seriously: Easiest is to shop that stuff over there at you - in USA. Even with freight charges it's cheaper and hundred times less frustrating.

For me Yearone is a good source - they have a lot of things at "one stop" - and it's not all crap. Sometimes it's costly - and sometimes it's poor quality but it's calculably. I never had to dispose anything from them. And their helpdesk isn't too bad. So it's a way... even if some of you obviously don't really like them.
