this may not apply to you but once on a stock power steering setup, mine would stick sometimes, usually turning right.

Turns out what was happening was the steering coupler was too close to the headers. Whenever I would turn the wheel right, the square ends of the coupler would hit the header, basically stopping the wheel from turning.

Might be something to check out.

Along those lines, check if the steering coupler or U-joints are lubed or have lube if they are permenantly lubed.

Also double check if all your suspension parts with zerks are lubed. (I've forgot that once).

When i was buying parts for my setup (6.1/alterK)I was told the factory pump pressure was too much for the AlterK rack. Bouchillon Perf sells a fitting to correct it.

Giving RMS a call might be a good call also.....they use to use Flaming River racks but went with AGR in the last couple years.

Ive had no problem with a factory older pump (77) no sticks or??? But was also told to be aware of the possible pressure issue.

Alot of the time I run with the ps belt off and with the system full of fluid its almost as easy as a manual box and I think its a lil more quick ratio then there std manual rack.

Do you know who made your rack, FR maybe id almost call them and get the pressure specs.

I cant see your steering linkage in a bind as its very straight forward, I had to weld the main shaft eyelet bracket onto my frame as
the power rack shaft sits 2 inches further out then a non power rack.
