I ran a stock cap 8 3/4 for a long time in my car 2400# with me but I finally broke the caps... this was with about 600hp and low 1.20s 60'... I changed to the alum center after that... if I didnt go with the alum center I would have gone with the good caps.... also a back brace helps alot
