just wondering how i might remove the rear bearing from the housing? any do it your self ideas. thanks

If it were me I would remove everything from the housing and place it on a hot plate then after several minutes turn it over and let it fall out

Have you tried packing the shaft hole with grease and then tapping in a rod or dowel - the pressure on the grease should push out the bearing (similar to removing a bushing in a blind hole).
