Looking to see how you guys have set up your small block tunnel ram fuel lines with a mechanical pump....?????

I'm going to run (2) 500 Edelbrock Thunder Series AVS single feed carbs in-line on a Weiand Tunnel Ram from a Carter performance series mechanical pump with alternator in the stock location.

Street 408 stroker....I was planning on not running a regulator....?????

I dont have a good shot of the other side since it's all off the car now, but the feed went through the t-ram, down along the valve cover and followed the factory route next to the alternator.

This was all 3/8 stainless and high pressure compression fittings I got from a job I was on,

Nice clean look Dave (as usual) I like the hard line look....of course the Edelbrocks feed from the passenger side but would only make the routing easier....!!!!! Probably use a tee fitting with an 1/8 fitting for a fuel pressure gauge

Getting closer....wheels and pulleys being dropped off today to get powdercoated and the Valiant will be hitting the body shop next month....finally

are you sure a mechanical pump will be enough for 2 carbs at high rpm? or is this your grocery getter?

no - but he can make an educated judgment based on my rpm and horsepower range what his fuel needs are from my experiences.

do you think the fuel demands for a stroker would be different from your combo?

Yes it will be mostly street driven and yes the Carter pump will feed the 408 with no problem.....it's doubtfull this motor will ever see 6000rpm, but it's sure to have plenty of torque

Now go play with your squirrel
