Locomotion master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 5,894 Florida	A-body because it's less expensive, shorter wheelbase, lighter and smaller. Over the years, both had everything from a slant 6 to a Hemi available in it.

For the record, my '73 small block Duster and my husband's '72 small block Challenger weigh almost exactly the same. 3,300 vs. 3,340 pounds.

DaKuda super stock Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 1,015 Down South	I have had both and in my opinion there is NO comparison. The E body is way easier to work on in the engine compartment. They are wider cars and they also are the best looking...to me. They do cost more though....thanks Chip Foose!!

Yes, they may be more readliy available, Cheaper to build & lighter in weight but its almost like having a Mustang. Sorry, I like to be different. The sucess of the Ramchargers in those years as well as a few others. Then S/S 65 A-990 cars or A/FX altered wheel base for some even the 64 Hemi car as a starting point. home of the Sox and Martin Hemi Duster
