These are the intake push rods from my 408 Stroker. Resultes of a bad TQ leaking all the gas into the cylinder and creating a hydrolock. The truck ran 15.0s with these. What do you think it will run with new rockers and push rods? 4300lbs with driver, 2.94 rear 28" tires

Probally wont run with all those bent rods that came out.You probally have bent valves at the least. If you had that much gas in the cylinders you probally washed out the rings also.Better pull the heads and check that and for possibly bent rods.Rocky

Well it's been running like that for about 2 months best I can figure. It was turning 15.0s during that time. It ran well enough that I didn't know the rods were bent. Cruised 70mph at 2500rpm sweet as can be. No bad noises,no miss,no indication at all. I was pulling the intake to cure a vacuum leak when I found them. Just kidding about what it will run. I wondered how much power was lost with the intakes barely opening.
