verta / 9.5 dynamic 5000 or 8" 5600 turbo action
susp. / right now i have ss springs but plan to upgrade to ladder bar susp. later
fuel / 8 gal cell 1/2 line from cell to front of car
body/ 70 duster mini tubbed and will be installing cage/ two race seats/ and plan to put on glass hood, bumpers, deck.
gear / i was thinking 4.10/4.30
tire/ 29/10.5 on a (8 or 10 rim)

If you don't already have the cam ground have it ground on a 110,111 or 112 lobe seperation anngle, not 108 That should help it run better all the way around

Your build is very close to my 518 pump gas motor, I didn't see what compression ratio you have or are going to use My 518 is 4.375 bore with 4.300 stroke, 10.84 to 1 comp ratio now. My 440-1 where CNC ported by Jeff at MCH and my cam is smaller, Comp Cams custom grind solid roller, 260@ .050 intake with .420 lobe lift, 266 @ .050 with .409 lobe lift on the exhaust, 108 LSA in at 106 intake side with Harland Sharp 1.64 rockers, it ended up with right at .700 net lift at the retainers. I used a 400-3 intake with a Summit brand 1.5 inch thick phenolic cloverleaf spacer, I dyno tested four different Holley 1050 Dominators, the best one made 775 HP and the worst one, it had been converted to annular boosters, made 750 HP on Oregon pump gas with 700+ ft lbs on all four carbs If your going to be limited by traction don't use a close(less than 110) lobe center cam, it will knock the tires off of the car at the hit of the throttle I stretch the rear wheelwells five inches on my 1971 Duster and switch the rear suspension to ladder bars and coil overs due to the results on my motor being dyno tested before I had the chassis work done The motor was a 400 block 512 low deck with a set of ported 906 heads and low compression ratio (9.25 to 1 )for the CA pump gas that I had to use back then, that combination made 612 HP at 5600 RPM and 644 Ft. lbs at 4500 using the low deck six pak Edlebrock intake and stock type 440 carbs

I have not ran this motor set up this way in the car yet, it ran a best of 10:34 at 128.6 MPH with the Eddy RPM heads and six pak set up on the same short block with the same cam The last time the 518 was on a engine dyno it made 718 HP with the six pak and 708 HP with a team G 4500 intake with a Holley 1050 Dominator, possibly the same one that now makes 775 HP with the 440-1 heads and 400-3 intake That should make the car run low tens on a good day, I hope
