I need the re-curve type because I have a pistol grip on it. I could do that but prefer to keep her original on the shift body.
You want a bayonet style (push in) stick with a pistol grip on it for an A-body, correct?

Yes, but it has to have the right curve on it so I dont have to lean forward to shift it.

Im pretty sure I have a stock, original 70 A body hurst handle I would trade you for the pistol grip if you want to go to a stock type shifter. If you want a pistol grip in your dart there is only one that works good. You need a pistol grip from a 71 -74 b body,non-console.
That sounds really good, but I put a shift boot in that fits the pistol grip shaft and I think the A body shaft is rounded. Would you be interested in the one I have? I could make a good deal on it to lessen the burden of getting the one I need.

A couple of choices.. If you do want a stocker 70 push-in type, contact Wayne @ Brewers Performance. My preference is to use the aftermarket Hurst Competition + gate, includes shifter gate stops, bolts up to the transmission with OE bracket and the after-market pistol grip handle bolts rite on. Just my ..
