Thanks for the feedback.

I'm thinking about getting one, just wanted to see if anyone else is running it and how they like it.

Firecore is the best
Get the whole package with wires and coil and say good bye to ignition issues

I ran that same pro comp for a year and it was shot. The bushings were all shot and made my car run like complete dog doo.I gutted it now and am using it for a mag pickup. If you do buy the pro comp they have like a 9000 series looks alot better then the ready to run 2 wire like we have. I will be upgrading as soon as money allows.

If you like the ProComp distributor, check your local auto swap meets for low pricing..
In SoCal @ the Long Beach Swap Meet, the ProComp distributor can be bought for $38-49 depending upon vendor..

Just my $0.02...

Like was said above. The FireCore mechanical distributor is the one to get. ZERO degree's retard to 8800 rpm. The only hot-forged unit on the market. Just because something is shiny and cheap, does that make it good?
