The Air Grabber on my 72 Roadrunner is a bit S L O W.
Actually, it is delayed. After hitting the switch, it takes a good 10 seconds before it starts to open. Actually opens reasonably fast once it makes up it's mine to do it. It flips shut quickly without the delay.
What gives? Everything is hooked up right. No obvious vacuum leaks. No hissing.

I can fix it... my old man is a television repairman. He's got the ultimate set of tools... I can fix it.

Haven't checked vacuum, but very mild cam.
I've actually hit the switch while engine braking to boost the vacuum and it made no difference.

I'd start by pumping up the nipple on the servo itself w a mityvac/vac pump to narrow down if the prob is the servo or in the vac supply to it
