Been driving around for years with the regular bimetal choke coil working half the time. When it gets cold I end up wiring it open.
So I got ahold of a holley 45-225 manual choke kit incorrectly thinking I could use that on a 2300 series like it says it should.
So has anybody ever rigged up manual choke cable on a 6 pack?

I have a manual cable that I ran into the glove box. Can't even see it. Works great
Thanks, I was hoping to see how things were rigged up at the carb. The cable inside isn't really my hangup.
The 45-225 is made for carbs with the round adjustable choke setup, not the old bimetal in the manifold deal like on 6 pack carbs.

sorry motor is apart or I'd show you.
Hello Mr yuck! did you every get your motor together? Just kidding as I know this is a old thread. I was doing some searching on manual choke cable installation on a 6 pack and wondering if you still run that. Or if you could take a picture. '
Or any help from anyone else, as I run edlebrock heads with no heat risers and have my choke wired open. It runs so much better with a choke when cold. Once hot it's great. Thinking a cable is the way to go?
