Surprising, check the Challenger WD, it has the tach, and is exact same instrument cluster.

What year Cuda? The 73-74 Rallye Dash has a different diagram for the tach. Early versions sent the tach signal through the bulkhead connector (cavity 20). Later versions were through a seperate wire through a grommet in the firewall.
The digrams on that web site are incomplete and show only the Grand Coupe standard cluster. You really need the Factory Service Manual and its diagrams. It is worth the price if just for the wiring.
