So the 70 Cuda arrived at the painter today...I have a pint of organosol...and he asked if the tail panel AND the tail lights get Organosol...since the lights currently do not have it...I don't know...does the whole tail panel including the lights get it? or do I paint the panel Organosol and the lights a smoother finish? Thanks.....

excluding the chrome bezels obviously

Yes, as does the area behind the grille, and the top of the wiper cowl on some cars

Vance,,Where ?

I've seen the factory print calling out the organsol on the tail panel, wiper cowl and the radiator support. so it only makes sense( to me anyway) the tail light bezels would be the same finish

I thought the radiator support and cowl (for 1970) were painted low gloss black

The tail panel and tail lamps on the 70 cuda should be organosol

Was the pinch weld painted black on non-convertibles as in the drawing?

Thanks much as usual, I am going to take the attachment to the painter, that was very helpful...appreciate the wealth of knowledge here!

One thing I find interesting is the paint on the "A" pillar. I know that on Troy's T/A it did not go all the way up like it shows in the drawing. It was approximately 1/4 the way up from the bottom of the pillar. Would it vary from Challenger to Barracuda? Just curious.
