Will the Holley #34-37 kit work on a 1050 Dominator? Is it possible to drill and tap the sides of my stock fuel bowls to fit these #26-112 sight windows? I believe they are one inch windows. I miss the Quickfuel bowls on my last car with the glass windows. I don't have alot of money to spend on this and I won't use those plastic sight plugs.

Dominic, your right, I'm just gonna save up for the whole kit. I got spoiled to the glass windows in my last car, so these stock bowls drive me crazy when trying to properly set the fuel bowl level, plus with the window you can always see what's going on in there, and if you want to try a higher than normal fuel level it is a piece of cake to set. Butch your polished plugs look nice but I like a bigger window and I had one of those plastic ones break off in the hole and caused me alot of frustration so I'm gonna avoid those.

Is that a snap ring? I'd have to have a groove in there for that I would think.

I'm gonna order the whole fuel bowl kit from BIGS next week, may as well support the guy who built my awesome carb.
your not saying you got an "awesome" custom built carb and it didn't come with clear sight plugs, are you?
No, I bought this carb used, and it is an old Holley 9375 that BIGS did some work on YEARS ago. It works great and Jesse has been awesome with answering questions and helping any way he can.

Since the window is bigger in dia, where is every one setting there level to? Did you scribe a line at the bottom of the old threads on the side of the bowl?
i think the hole is moved up so the bottom is the same. not certain though

Sent the money order out Monday and the new bowls arrived from BIGS friday. I installed them today and went for a cruise. I run the fuel level a little less than half way up the window, I like to run it a little high so that's another benefit of the window, easier to set it high. But the biggest benefit is not spilling fuel on a hot engine while adjusting the level.
