changing fluid in my 68 dart, was thinkin of cranking line psi 2 turns, can i do anything else with out getting a shift kit??
add type f fluid as well.

You can pull the accumulator spring out and put a blocker rod in to keep the piston from moveing and that will firm up the 1-2 shift. While you are in there you should check and adjust both bands. Use type-F fluid to get a tad firmer shift.

plan on the band adjust to, if i remember the rod is 3in?
