I blew the engine in my Dakota with a full tank of gas. How can I get the fuel pump to run so I can drain the tank before I junk it since gas is 2.70 a gal.

Thanks

If you're junking it, poke a hole in the tank and have buckets on hand.

Won't the pump run when you turn on the key to prime up?

Remove the fuel line at any accesible point and jump the fuel pump relay with a piece of wire. JMO
