anlauto OP I Live Here Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 11,854 Georgetown Ontario Canada	On a 1970 Plymouth B Body steering column, shouldn't the collapsible mesh part be covered with a thin black plastic split sleeve? I just searched EBay and not one single column has it, even the fancy restored ones don't have it. gtx6970 Too Many Posts Joined: Jun 2003 Posts: 21,428 It's a dry heat	I did a 71 A-body column recently and it had one. It also had the screen type lower column as you've shown. But ,,,, the 2 1970 E-body columns I've done did not have one - they were solid columns.
