The underside is just as the factory ones were, with a ruff look. I was lucky to get one from a member here when he added a taller hood on his car. It also is stronger and may not warp but I am not going to use springs just to be safe.....

I guess I"ve got one of the "good" hoods ,....my hood is a Fiberglass trends hood,...very nice accurate repro,....paid about $400 for it 32 years ago,....been on the car since, with springs,.....still haven't seen it bow Mike 6198106-10-21-07_1411.jpg (52 downloads)
