I prefer The Right Stuff Detailing stainless lines. I have both of their fuel and brake lines on my car and have had 0 problems. I'd use them again anytime.

i would have said fine lines,but since they don't really back up the sales,i'd go with right stuff,i bought the full brake line kit from fine lines,though all fit well the proportioning valve and drivers front brake line,had poor flanging and they wouldn't replace,now i have to buy new else where

For what its worth, my uncle had Fine Lines ss brake lines on his Challenger a few years back. He never could get them to seal properly and always had a leak. They wouldn't back their product either, and he ended up taking them off and replacing them with Right Stuff lines. No further problems as long as he had the car. As for me, no problems with either their fuel or brake lines.

I tried stainless steel lines on my car and had leaks. I went with the regular steel lines and didn't have a problem.

I believe they both offer stainless stuff. I know mine are. As for shipping, yeah that could be a hassle. I picked mine up at a swap meet, so i didn't have to worry about that.

Well, i have no idea how to "seat" them properly. I know that all i did was install them and have had zero leaks with mine. I doubt my uncle did anything different either in switching from fine lines to right stuff. Sounds like user preference really. I've had good luck with right stuff, so i'll always recommend them. Whatever you go with, good luck!

Yes, Ive done mine b4 using originals as patterns but there is a lot of time invloved. I had to bend em, then have them tin plated, I also had to have the spring custom made to fit over the line snugly, then plate the spping too....bend all the lines, then after tehy were bent take em on my pickup bed to have em flanged at a good hydraulic flanger, etc. Man lots of time...time has to be worth something....I have the chance to put em inside a container so there is no shipping costs for me there this time!!! Here is a pic when I was testing fit with the proo valve...thats why the prop valve bracket was still rusty.
How should I seat the stainless lines properly???
