I have a BS23 340 Cuda with TTI headers. The collectors point downward and there is no way I could ever cross over a speed bump. There is quite a distance between the collector and the floor ( about +4" ). Yes the car is lowered but they still hang way below the rest of the bottom of the car. Has anyone else run into this? Dose anyone make a shorty header for the 340 Cuda?
Also, the drive line angle is correct.

Do you have a Keisler or TKO 5spd in the car?,....driveline angle in relation to what starting point?,...rear pinion?, if so what angle of degree?

Yes, I ran into that. Trans is a Keisler.
TTI does make a differnt angle collector adapter that tucks the pipes up closer to the floor. Instead of stright-thru like what ou have, they angle up 6 degrees. Put 'em on my car ('72 RR); looks a lot better. Had to have custom pipes made to replace the "width-adjusting slip-fit connectors" that came with the original kit.
Pics are on here somewhere, I think.

I had the same problem but with the Challenger/TTI/340/727. My exhaust still pointed downward and TTI was able to correct the problem with the 6 degree angled reducers.

Yes, I have a keisler. Do I need different TTI headers that tuck up closer to the floor? I don't want to correct this with angled reducers. The collectors would still hange down.

The Keisler hangs lower than the factory transmission by design. This isn't optimal, but we won't get into that here. It's been beat to death elsewhere.

It does, however, magnify the issue with the TTIs.

I recently installed a pair of the 340 headers on my 72 Roadrunner and found that they hang much lower than I anticipated. My car is a factory auto, and yes, the transmission mount is in good shape. It hasn't created any problems, but I was a little disappointed just the same.

I've also installed a set of their big block headers on a 69 Charger and had the opposite problem. They fit too tight to the floor causing the H-pipe to hit the T-bar x-member.

I can fix it... my old man is a television repairman.

i also ran into this with my 6.1 conversion in 71 runner. I had to modify the floor to move tranny up slightly. with car lowered, it would not have worked.
