I've got a big leak, the drivers side fresh air vent down by my feet leaks badly. It just pours when the vent door is open I can look up the vent and see daylight. Is there a plugged up drainage channel somewhere?

If the drain holes do not solve you problems. Check the dam. It circles the entrance to vent. They are sometimes corroded or the leaves and dirt are built up as high as the dam.

I just went through this with my '71 Dart. The cowl drains on both sides were plugged with leaves and junk. The passenger side was plugged with a hornet's nest. I ended up drilling a 1/2" hole in the firewall and used high pressure water to blow the nest out of there. I plugged the hole with a metal plug. Yes, water poured into the passenger compartment until I got that nest out of there. Fortunately, my shop vac got all the water out.
