Ok, can someone post pics and show the difference between a 1970 and 1971 Cuda rear valance?

If I remember correctly, the '70's had two "larger" brackets which would support the valence top and bottom and the '71 had two shorter brackets?

If you have any pics showing the difference, please post.

Many thanks in advance!

I had asked the same question some time ago. Here are some pics.

K5Cuda, thanks for the pics and helping me out.

I guess the easy way to remember this is by thinking of an improved part design.

Thanks again!

I wish I could give credit where it's due but it wouldn't surprise me if it was Snoopy who sent me those pics. You could probably find the thread under my name if you searched for it. Has been a long time ago by now.

BTW, what ever happened to Snoopy?

I dont have pictures but I believe the bottom edges on each side are cut ( stamped ) noticeably different on a 70 verses a 71 up valance.

It would be interesting to see a pic of this difference. Any other differences?
