The Pro Systems dominator I have on my hemi cost $1000.
I was quoted $1150 for a custom SV1.

I think the jury is still out as to just how much better the SV1 is than a regular dominator. Glad I waited to see some results before buying one myself. I'll be sticking with my current carb for now.

whens the next time you are going to the track?

I'm up for going anytime.

well as soon as I get my junk back together (hopefully soon)Ill ship ya my SV1 to run some back to back hits with your dommy! just put it back the way I sent it to ya when your done

Wow, I wasn't expecting that! That'd be awesome! Just let me know when you wanna do it. The cuda is always sitting here ready to go. It's been getting used as the "parts chaser" for the past several weeks. Putting together the old road runner with leftover parts to play with.

Thanks for posting your results Jim,that's what I was looking for some results from someone on the board. I am trying to make up my mind whether to switch to E85 or just get an SV1 and stick with pump gas. You have your setup running pretty good.Good job!!

For those interested, a video of an SV1 in action [from my local engine guy]:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtnBPwPPItc

He said the customer service is impeccable...you need a tweek, and Patrick shoots you an email with pictures/details on exactly what to do!

Ive posted it before but Im very happy with my SV-1. No back to back tests. It has helped win money several times including several dash for cash. Its very consistant and for me fast too! last time out it went 5.69 @ 118 with my indy headed SB. Patrick gives great service after the sale.

Looking at some YB posts it seems some programs pick up well with the SV1 and others can't get it to work at all. Can you guys post some info on your combos and if you had any problems before getting it to work? I talked to Patrick a while back about an Indy SB engine which was not done and was est the HP would be in the 650 to 675 range and he tried to steer me into a 4150 carb. The reason why I was interested is that the Indy intake is only set up for 4150. In order to run a Domy you have to run an 4150 to 4500 adapter or spent $600 or more getting the manifold modded. The SV1 will out flow a Domy using a 4150 base.

I haven't had mine to the track yet as it still winter here. I bought a used e85 sv1 and I love it. Not only is it a work of art but the throttle response is insane. The car is very consistent so I will be able to tell right away if there is any added power.
