I finally got my 70' Road Runner Back on the ground this evening & thought I would share some pics. A little review of what was done so far. I started on this back in February, and have been going at it darn near every day since the beginning of April. Here's what I've done so far: New rear frame rails (from axle back) New trunk floor & trunk extensions New rear bumper crossmember New 2 x 3 Sub Frame Connectors New Full Tubs New floor pans New Alston Chassisworks Ladder Bar Suspension Narrowed 9" Ford Rear Axle, backbraced & gusseted etc.... Repaired rusty section of drivers side front frame rail Patched a few spots in engine compartment sheetmetal around battery Removed all factory undercoating & gunk etc.... Cleaned up & rebuilt front suspension Wilwood Disk Brakes on all 4 corners New brake lines. roll control, master cyl. prop valve Still have a bunch to do but am pretty confident It'll be ready for Norwalk. Here's a pic how I bought it: Here's the Progress Pics:

That's an interesting combo, for a beautiful looking car, hope to see it at Norwalk.

I really look forward to seeing how it runs, that is basically the engine combo I was going to run myself. Good luck with it Steff, glad to see you with a bad ass car again.

Very nice.. How did you like the Alston stuff? I just finished a back half job, thought they was quality, but didnt like a few things..Like why in the heck they didnt add the front safety brackets to the ladder bars...No one likes to grind the nice powder coat off and weld a bracket on it... I still havent, I discussed it with the owner, he didnt like the idea, so I think he just used some safety cable through them
