Hi everybody, My 'cuda is coded for interior PRXW (white leather). I didn't know any better, but Dan (6bblgt) pointed out that he would have expected woodgrain inserts in the door panels. My suspicion is that the interior panels have never been changed, based only on the fact that the car hasn't been restored other than some rust repair in the mid-late '70s by the previous owner, who bought it from the OO in 1974. I have lost contact with the previous owner, or I would ask him about replacement of the panels. Has anyone ever seen a leather interior 'cuda with no woodgrain inserts in the door panels? The build date is 1-15-70. Hmmm... curious... Thanks for any thoughts

I owned a PRT5 '70 'Cuda that did not not have the inserts, my buddy owned a PRT5 '70 Gran Coupe and it did have them... Both had unmolested interiors.

if we can expand this thread a bit ..... Kris' car also has a "seat belt" light on the dash, but has standard seat belts. Was this also part of the "leather interior"?
I have broadcast sheets that show it (L73) with & without A01 on PRxx cars.

The "cornfield" '71 HEMI'Cuda 11K? miles (Jan. '71 car) - has black leather & the wood grained inserts in the ('Cuda badged) door panels. Maybe it's a '70 vs. '71 thing?
Who has a late '70 'Cuda with or without WOOD? 0b100004 that Rocket Restorations restored (& there are pics in the parts book when new) doesn't have woodgrain.
The PRT5 EF8 'Cuda I mentioned above has an SPD of 6/8/70 and no woodgrain inserts.

Don't know if adds anything, but the car has A01. The fenders have been replaced, so I don't have the fender-mounted signals.
Maybe (A01 + convertible) == (reverse light on dash)
For the woodgrain inserts, I'm going to guess that it came on GranCoupe models, but maybe just got installed (by accident?!) on a few non-GranCoupe models that had leather?
