I bought a aluminum trans pan for the coronet. whats the best kind of gasket to use. i'm sick of the leaks. thanks

I went to my local dealer and got 1 of the hard gaskets with the seals on each side of it. It was the only way I got mine fixed. Ronnie

Also i have used the cheap ones that come with the filter and never had a problems as long as the pan rails are good.

HECK ....a good cast alum pan ...with a nice straight and FLAT pan rail should be GOOD NUFF with a cheapO cork gasket !

teah a cheap o will work but the new gaskets from the dealer will never shrink get lose and it is the last gasket you will ever buy.
