I need to replace the switch on my 1964 console shifted big block 727 transmission.Question is where to get one and are they the same for push button and console shifted cars.

I need one for a console shifted car you have two switchs listed which is correct.Mopar part number 2889472 is the one I need.

thanks for that info I corrected my two ads, 1964 cars with a FLOOR SHIFTER use the later(1965-1968) NSSW, #2495537,2586994 or 2889472 all interchange and supercede each other.

Just to pick nits....the 1968-all isn't correct either, the 3-prong switch was introduced in the middle of May '68.

What about for column shifted 68?

'64 is the only year that the floor shift used a different NSS, from '65-on the NSS was the same regardless of the type of shifter.
