I like it, the heads is one thing you might want to save the money on porting and put a nice set of aluminum ones on it? IMO, the carb is ok, for right now!
What type of tranny, gears, and wheels are you running? Also tell us more about the cam.

It is almost identical to the 440 in my 63. I have a complete stock bottom end with KB quench pistons for my 906 heads so it runs great on pump gas. I have 10.0 comp and I installed the 2.14 and 1.81 valves in my 906's also. It has Hedman 1-3/4 headers with 3" exh. I also use the Holley Street Dominator with an 850 DP and I use the MP .557 cam with Isky nodular iron rockers. I use 4.30's with a 30 x 9 tire and a dynamic 9.5 converter. My 63 weighs 3700 with me and I figure it is making right about 500 flywheel hp by its 11.49 @ 116 best et. You should go easy 12's in a B-body and maybe even low 12's with the right tune and drivetrain combo. Ron
