Also there is a hole on the top, Mancini A body loop, is that there for suport to the floor pan?

O can make a spacer, and use a carriage bolt and bolt it down back there.

Oh and I really need to store this car in a dryer environment, the humidity killed the paint on the tranny.

And that rear hole on the top... I would use it to bolt
it to the floor(with spacers if needed to center it...
I dont like the back out there floating in space
if the shaft come off)

Yep, If I would have know how simple this thing is, I would have built one my self.

I am going to bolt the back to the floor. I also dont like it flopping around back there.

Kasey.

Oh and whats with the 6"

Per NHRA ......... must be located within 6 " of front U joint.
I used the old school 26.00 safety loop.......bolted through the floor and with a little heat and beat , it is a very snug fit.
Now that I am switching to a 904 , I may have to move mine , but then , I could also shove the motor back a bit since I am switching to motor plates too.

At least you put one in there. That is something that would cause a lot of newbies trouble at the tech stand. Back when we had tech stands. Now days at a lot of tracks, if you have the $ for the entry fee, you pass tech.
Glad to see you care enough to do it right.

Not trying to be a wise guy but do your self a favor and buy or borrow a rule book.
