I have been suspecting my brake booster on the 68 charger has been leaking and causing a miss for a while, i just recently disconnected it all together and it turned out to be the case. Now that i know its a leak how can i go about fixing it? Some on told me it should be the check valve but should i look else where on the unit? Thank you.

The check valve is the only thing you can service so if it's not that then you need to replace the booster.
