Taking the 318/904 out of a early B body (1964), and replacing it with a later year 383/727 or 440/727. How difficult? Mostly changing mounts? K-member? Shaft length? Other problems? Thanks!

the deal is not on relation between motor is on mounts and K member with your year... so as far you get right motor mounts to your car and to the engine family, everything should it be fit right.

diff with K member began on 73 and lates B bodies

then also on A bodies at same year or so, BUT just between the mounts kind ( spool or block ), not really engine family, since no A bodies with BB/RB were offered.

Drive shaft willl be teh same. There is no difference in tail shaft legth between big and small block car 727's.
