qkRick OP super stock Q Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 974	Hi People. I am rebuilding a 440 with casting date of 1 28 68. The numbers stamped on pan rail are PT440S24610641. I have misplaced my books and am trying to determine what type of car this is from. Any help appreciated. Thanks MoParts!

JohnRR I Win Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 75,050 U.S.S.A.	That number is not going to tell you what type of car is MIGHT have come from. Without a VIN you'll never be 100% , what is stamped on the ID pad up top and is there a partial VIN on the bellhousing flange ?
