Fellas -
A few random questions -
I have an 8# radiator cap on my car now. Looks factory, but 8# sure seems kind of light, and car seems to puke water/AF too easily. Was it 8# originally?
I recently purchased the shop manual for 68 B bodies, but shouldn't I also be able to find a chassis/assembly manual? Didn't see any on eBay. Anyone know where these can be found?
I purchased a repro engine ground strap (engine to firewall, I presume) from Mancini, but the car did not have one, so I'm unsure as to routing. Any clues on routing it correctly?
Thanks in advance for any info.
Scott

Air grabber cable(or choke cable in your case) comes thru where the rubber grommet is in my picture above.Firewall ground hole is above and to the left of the regulator Firewall ground fasteners TYPICALLY uses a fastener similar to this , but slightly shorter overall. As long as theres nothing it can hit inside, I guess it can be used as is. it's a 1/4-20 thread pitch

The ground strap on '68 b-bodies typcially where further down the firewall near the heater hose inlet. You can vaguely see the attach bolt/screw just below the PVC hose under the ballast resistor.
Now, the later production '68 models could have had the ground strap closer to the ballast resistor which is the case for the '69 model year.

Well, I've never noticed that one before. But I think you may be right

Really appreciate the pics and details. My car was built 25 September 1967, so I'll be looking for the ground strap mounting hole that's pictured. Don't recall seeing anything there, but that's not where I was looking last night.
Thanks again,
Scott

Yep, there's a hole there - same place pictured above by Hemi68Charger and GTX6970.
I suppose I can get the correct fastener at Year One or some similar vendor?
Thanks,
Scott
Or from Bill himself (GTX6970).. He's got a nice website and sells quality stuff. I've bought many things from him....
