Which port to the valley, I have heard of the intakes not sealing correctly to the head causing leaks into the valley but never the heads themselves leaking unless using cometic gaskets.

I would mock up with no intake gaskets to make sure everything is where it should be. There is no reason to have a leak with the Fel-pro gasket, it is a fine choice.
x2 Also when using aftermarlet heads i would double check to make sure the dowl pins aren't holding the head up. good luck

It is NOT the head gasket causing the problem. Has to be a crack or the water port is not in the right position in the head or dowls are holding the head up a little or the bolts are a little too long or mabey the head gasket was bent or something but I have built a lot of motors with those gaskets and magnum heads and never had one leak.

They feel that nobody has made a high perf. head gasket for the 5.9 Mag.
Wow what a statment for them to make.
Only have one word to say, Cometic.
Yes, Cometic does make Magnum headgaskets.

Felpro 1008'S (for LA motors) are a proven head gasket for 5.2 and 5.9 magnum motors too.
Dakota for life!
