I think that's what supposed to be in the spot in the attached photo but not sure what it looks like or where I can find one? Before I head to the local auto parts; am I wasting my time or is there a chance the local NAPA/Advance/Auto Zone/Pep Boys/etc might have one or get one for me??? Is it the same as an non-A/C fan resistor?

Thanks for any help.

Mike,
That's the blower switch, resistor is on the heater/evap box.
I have one here from a non a/c control head. looks to be the same but can't tell for sure from the angle of the picture. Can you post a straight on from the top pic?

The plug with three terminals is what plugs into the resistor on the box

Any idea where I might be able to find a fan switch?

Yes, Perfect. The pivot arm is different for sure but looks to be the same switch.
Let me get back with you in just a bit, I just remembered seeing a a/c switch in one of my stash boxes not long ago.

OK I'm back. I think that's the fastest I've ever been able to find what I just saw not that long ago!
Here's a pic., a/c switch is different from the non a/c.
Mike I know you posted for new, but if you think you can use this switch, it's yours.

Mike,
This must be a common issue. I just pulled a used assy I have here and it looks just as bad as the one you have. so I'm no help

John thanks I just sent you an email

I got real busy with a bunch of "honey-do" around the house projects and couldn't reply. I have the other end of that plug in the wiring harness but not that switch or pigtail anywhere to be found??? I need to check if it's available, you never know but I don't think I'm going to have any luck on that one.

Thanks again for the offer .
