I was wondering if I could get some input on who does the best head porting. I have a set of edelbrock rpm magnum heads on my 408 that is used for race only. I want to find someone who can CNC and hand port and polish. I was thinking about just sending them to INDY but I've heard good and bad things about them. Any and all info helps, Thanks

Check with Hughes Engines. I think they have a CNC package for those heads.

Indio Motor Machine is close and Brian seems to be getting decent results with hand porting magnum designs.

Well, art is art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water! And east is east and west is west and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now, uh... Now you tell me what you know.

the motor is pretty mild 9.5 to 1's comp cam around 588 lift, the heads due have small chambers i think like 62cc or around that, air gap rpm magnum intake with a 750 demon, running a poerglide with an 8 3/4 with 4.30's ran it yesterday at about 7700 feet elevation 10.82 @ 121.60 we figure it weights about 2200 to 2400 lbs

I would call Jeff at Modern, not sure he has a CNC program though. Shady Dell seems to get excellent results and Brian at Indio comes highly recommended.

Two questions. Did you buy that truck out of Nevada? And is that the track outside Gran Junction, CO?

He was dissapointed that he coudnt be there for the fisrt run so we made him a video. as far as the wheelie bars go maybe with more motor somday, or maybe just some good head work who knows. i just want to thank everybody for the input its been good help.
