Does anyone know where I can get a transmission cradle for a 727? I've had no luck in finding someone who sells them.

Made one from a piece of plywood, angle iron bolted to one end with holes drilled for the top bellhousing bolts and a vertical 2x4 with a diagional brace just before the tailshaft to hold the trans upside down on a workbench. Works like a charm.

ALL I did was use a 13 or 14 inch steel wheel(put the bell-housing in that) ...and use a simple jack-stand on the tail housing.

I used this combo on a couple-of-hundred transmissions....
