How many bottles of water wetter do you guys add with just distilled water?
I use 2 bottles... I have a decent size cooling system (but not big)... I cant see it hurting anything

I've always wondered. Why are we so worried about anti-freeze when the car has oil, trans, axle, and some times power steering fluid. They can all leak. they're all slippery. Just wondering. Doug
Because the oil dry works only on certain things and thats what the tracks use

http://www.youtube.com/user/SCATPACKTOMCar before me blew the bypass hose off- straight antifreeze. Fluid is fluid, wouldn't have been any different if it was any other fluid a race car requires. Just clean up time

water lube is a meaningless term by todays standards water pumps in all cars in say 58 up era isnt required but in the old days when you had to 'pack' your'e pumps it was there is nothing you can use in todays market that will lube a maintance free pump water wetter works as a ph balancer for h2o distilled water is the prefered h2o to be used in cooling systems but not the 'cure all' that is were water wetter comes in and helps the ph balance, there are others out there in the big truck world that works even better you can get ph strips at youre neighborhood drug store or any big truck repair shop

a flame can pick up ...burn off whatever hydry cant.. but glycol...is nasty..it wont burn off..and still leaves a slick residue. besides.. when water just dries up...why wouldnt you make removing it from the race cars manditory. spill water on track..in mid day. a few minuutes its gone... drip a little it mops up.. one its gone its gone...dried up. all the other stuff ..your talkin down time in the hour range...and that doesnt account for spots you missed... when you can prevent something...with forethought..why wouldnt you...? cheapst

gainesvilee uses ground peanut hulls not oil dry. I haven't seen anybody use the old oil dry in many years.

Never been down there but all of the places I have been to in the north use oil dry... it always amazes me how many bags they bring.... I worked with a few different groups as a fuel expert for 14 years... was a good time
thats because yoiu guys up north are 20 years behind times
