I installed the new carbs I had built this winter. Had to grind a clearance grove in the front of the intake for the acc. pump lever. Too much aluminum cast there. Can't wait to get it fired.

I made a "custom" aircleaner for my other carbs that I will rework to fit this set. It uses a K&N 3" tall 6-pack filter and will sit down over the carbs a little.

Any thought of putting carb spacers on instead of grinding?

I only ground a spot about 3/4" long by about 3/16" wide and about 3/16" deep. Spacers are out. No room under the scoop for them also.

That is a thing of beauty! What is the rest of the combo?

Yes they are Dillman carbs. The rest of the combo is a 440, 516 heads (that are hogged out), 12.5 pistons, roller cam (I don't remember all the specs off the top of my head.) And a 4 speed.

I like

Have the same intake with a pair of 750 DP's and Pro Form main bodies on the shelf waiting

From what I understand the set up is worth .2-.3 in ET over a single plane set up.

I should have given the carb info also. They are 660 center squirters that have been all reworked. They flow around 695 now and have metering blocks in the rear. Really nice carbs! Atleast to look at. We will find out when I fire them up.
